In March 2026, six Pacificans laced up for the Cambridge Half Marathon with a goal of raising £2,000 for The William Templeton Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health (YPMH), our chosen charity. Thanks to the generosity of colleagues, clients, friends and family, they smashed that target, raising £2,294 plus £383.75 in Gift Aid.
This year, we’re going further. For the 2027 Cambridge Half Marathon on March 14, we’re growing the team from six runners to eight and doubling our target to £4,000.
Meet the team
Dan Wollner, David Howells, Dominic Reed, Ebba Gotthard, Ellie LaFountain, Kester Guy-Briscoe, Samantha Field and Wiktoria Betlejewska from our London office will all be on the start line. They are already braving the cold and rain to be at their best on the day.
Why it matters
The William Templeton Foundation for Young People’s Mental Health (YPMH) is a charitable foundation working to improve the lives of young people by facilitating innovative approaches to resolve mental health conditions. His parents, Anne and Peter, and his brother John, a colleague at Pacific International, set it up in memory of Will Templeton.
YPMH focuses on accelerating the translation of high-quality research into practical, scalable solutions that help prevent mental ill health, reduce the severity of mental ill health for those who experience it, and improve outcomes for young people. Its work brings together researchers, innovators, practitioners, schools, community organisations, and young people themselves to help ensure that research leads to real-world impact.
Every pound raised goes directly towards that work.
How you can help
While our runners put in the training miles, Pacificans around the world are rallying behind them.
You can support the team by donating on our JustGiving page.
Every contribution, however small, brings us closer to our goal, and if you’re a UK taxpayer, ticking the Gift Aid box adds 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you.
Can’t donate? Sharing the fundraising page with your network helps just as much.
Thank you for backing our runners and YPMH. We’ll share updates, photos and the final total after race day.
