A Global Engineering organization that provides Heating and Cooling Solutions for customers within a range of sectors as well as households worldwide. The Senior Vice President of Global Strategy on a newly created corporate mission engaged with Pacific to find someone who could focus on aligning the company missions and values with the actions and programs of the group across the regions.
This leadership search would allow the business to identify the right professional to join the select and diverse Corporate Strategy team to ensure vital goals are met, regarding the company’s focus on sustainability and impact. This involves becoming carbon neutral in 2030, as well as promoting female leadership, with an aim for 30% of the leadership team being female by 2025.
The nature of the search required us to work closely with the Vice President of Global Strategy on defining the position correctly and advising on the job description and key deliverables before we started the search. This allowed us to understand the requirements to bring much needed diversity to the team, as well as get an understanding for the candidate’s needed passions, life values and soft skills as well as the vital career experience. Our team was then able to commence the search and deliver a shortlist… using our video interview platform to present a diverse candidate slate covering European and US based candidates.
Due to the need for diversity and raw talent for the role, the source was focused outside of the company’s home country and required a relocation. The chosen candidate was a consultant, who we relocated to the Headquarters alongside her husband and two children. She is already considered a huge success in the company, with a strong passion for the company values- especially Females in Leadership.
