This German family-owned company retained Pacific to manage their search for a Production Leader as they embarked on a major expansion of their production sites.
Pacific was retained by this German family-owned company that produces personal protective equipment. The company made a significant decision to expand its production portfolio by acquiring several production sites in Europe . The company came to Pacific to help them restructure their production sites. We started search for a new production manager parallel to this organizational change. The client needed someone able to deal with big organizational changes in addition to being an experienced and excellent production manager.
In close consultation with the client, we identified the specific challenges of the expansion of the company and its product portfolio, and because of this we held interviews with a diverse and varied field of candidates, all of which displayed a very high level of responsibility and experience. Candidate backgrounds, including the metal, chemical and electrical industries.
At the final stage of the recruitment process there were three hands-on, multi-faceted candidates to choose from. All three were well experienced in production management from strategical and operational point of view. The candidate has already started to lead the main production plant and to implement new organizational and lean methods. The company is in a stable and growing market position.
