Delivering the mandate for female leadership within a global manufacturing firm and providing a Plant Leader for their key Spanish facility to manage the manufacturing transformation and growth.
The position was one of the first search projects managed our European delivery team for this client who we had previously worked within the US.
The organisation needed to identify a transformational Plant Leader for their Spanish facility. A critical position as it would drive strategic transformation, focused on establishing a world-class manufacturing excellence programme across the entire network. This position required a strong technical background, so a targeted search was conducted. The position was in a rural location and an isolated area adding an additional layer of difficulty to the search.
Leveraging our network in the region and deploying our Spanish speaking research team, we maintained a robust delivery process model involving a thorough mapping of market, consistent approaching of candidates, creating a narrative to better capture the interest of target profiles, and maintaining as many touchpoints as possible with the client to maintain momentum keeping the project constantly moving forward.
The project was successful closed with a female leader (formerly of Procter & Gamble) joining the firm which not only feed into strategic objectives surrounding the manufacturing excellence transformation, but which also supported the organisations strategic objectives surrounding inclusion and diversity. Two years on, we maintain a strong relationship with the Spanish business unit, the candidate identified has now a key client, and we have successful managed talent acquisition project for the leadership team in the plant covering EHS & Quality, Total Productive Maintenance and HR Management search mandates.
