A global food manufacturing organization with values focused around sustainability and their people retained Pacific to find a Maintenance Manager for their flagship site in Los Angeles, CA.
The organization found themselves facing constraints with the marketplace, specifically in terms of compensation, and retained Pacific to support with finding the perfect candidate for their largest facility.
The organization is currently in the middle of a transformation and needed a hands-on maintenance leader who could hold their large team accountable. As this is a large facility with a diverse population, they were searching for a leader who could work closely with operations to drive change. The role required an engaging maintenance professional with strong listening skills.
As manufacturing and operations fall within Pacific’s core space paired with the strong relationship with the client, the client came to us to support in the search. Utilizing our strong network in the manufacturing space and our knowledge in the local market, we were able to target map within the manufacturing space and provide a diverse shortlist with varying levels of experience. We were able to place a local, and high potential candidate who was a strong culture fit within the business.
The candidate was identified, interviewed and placed in the organization within a three-month span. A hands-on and high potential candidate, he’s currently working to build strong relationships with his team and instill a sense of accountability within their maintenance function. As we stay in touch with both the candidate and the client, he has received positive feedback for the impact he’s been able to make in the short amount of time since joining.
