Pacific was retained by a Global Fortune 500 firm operating within the manufacturing and engineering industry to identify a European Digital Marketing Manager to drive the development and optimization of the digital marketing platforms and digital marketing roadmap within the organization.
We were engaged by the European Head of Digitalization, to go to market and identify a Digital Marketing Manager to help grow their business EU Marketing presence through the strategic creation and implementation of new websites and Martech platforms.
A newly created role with a niche set of requirements, Pacific was asked to manage the search for an expert in the field of digital transformation, project management and digital marketing strategy. Due to the scope of the role, we had three specific locations where the candidate could be based: Finland, Germany or Poland.
Working closely with the European Head of Digitalization, and the HR Business Partner based in Finland, and using our headhunting approach, we were able to identify a strong shortlist of candidates with the right technical and leadership experience within 10 business days.
Due to the need for gender diversity talent for the role, Pacific built a strong shortlist of highly skilled female candidates. At the end of the search, we had two runner ups, both digital marketing leaders, based in Germany.
Both candidates were identified at the very early stages of the search and after being interviewed by multiple leadership stakeholders, and having successfully completed a leadership assessment mandate, both were considered suitable for this position.
After a site visit in the Finnish HQ the preferred candidate secured the role, concluding the search within four months. Pacific is continuing to support this client with their Digital transformation journey.
