Pacific delivered this retained search project as part of this client's global Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme.
The search commenced for the TPM Leader for a key strategic site within this Industrial Engineering location in Missouri, United States.
Having started the TPM program from ground zero less than three years ago, it was critical for the Plant Leader that we presented a shortlist of candidate who understood the complexity of getting a program off the ground in the facility in line with global standard. Furthermore, the site was doubling in size over the next 18 months so the search focus on individuals who were comfortable in a fast-paced, controlled yet chaotic environment that had experience in implementing new production lines.
As Pacific had successfully delivered the same talent acquisition assignment for 6 other sites around the U.S. for the business, the client engaged us on an active search after their internal talent acquisition had drawn a blank.
Using our knowledge and network, Pacific was able to commence our discreet market mapping of local and regional organizations that run similar programs to our client to give them a shortlist within 20 working days. We headhunted the successful candidate; an outstanding female TPM Leader.
Following our post-placement assessment with the client, this TPM Leader has successfully relocated to Missouri and the feedback from the Plant General Manager. He praised has as a great strategic and hands on leader, who is currently building the foundations of the site TPM programme.
