Pacific was retained by a world leading industrial manufacturing organization headquartered in Denmark. We had previously delivered candidates across this business globally, so when the organization was embarking on a complete agile transformation we were instructed to recruit a Head of Product Management and Development.
The company was to become a North American powerhouse so needed an expert with strong leadership skills to assist in the end-to-end process of the transformation, and to really change the culture of the team. The client needed a pivotal leader to develop strategies and lead the agile transformation. The client asked us to bring in an open minded, strong willed, self-starter that could lead teams and navigate the complex matrix organization as well as being a true change agent for the team and greater organization.
Using our extensive knowledge of the North American market, we were able to place a high potential candidate within the business. This candidate was extremely skilled in both Sales and Product Management and had diverse industry experience from twelve years of experience with a competitor to the client. She excelled throughout the interview process with her mixed background in sales and product management and her highly communicative leadership style.
The successful candidate was identified, interviewed and accepted an offer in less than two months. She moved into the position soon afterwards and hit the ground running with her plans to be a complete change agent to the organization. The client shared that this is only the start of her strong career with their business.
